Bathe & Balm
with Laura D’Alessandro & Stefany Pagé-Douville
Join Stef and Laura on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 at the Pavilion in Greely Ontario, for a unique four hour outdoor retreat.
This event will take you on a journey, combining the therapeutic offerings of a guided Forest Bathing experience, followed by a yoga class that combines breathwork, art, and movement (BALM). This retreat is a practice in grounding, presence, and nonattachment.
The first half of the retreat will be taking place in the Pavilion's magical forest trails. The second half will be taking place on the Pavilion itself, nestled amongst the wildflowers and views of apple orchards.
In case of rain, the second part of the retreat will be taking place inside Natalia's yoga studio.
Drinks, snacks, and a bathroom break will be provided before we transition.
1:00pm - Opening circle - introductions & sharing
1:30pm - Forest Bathing experience
Stef will be guiding participants through the Forest,
to help people slow down, ground and deepen their connections to nature & themselves.
Forest Bathing is NOT a hike. It is a slow wander on easy & flat terrain,
where participants are invited to engage all of their senses through
a series of invitations catered by the Guide.
The experience ends with a snack and tea in community, before closing off the experience.
3:00pm - Eco-Break
3:30pm - BALM (Breathe, Art, Laugh, Move)
Balm is a unique concept created by Laura, that combines art, breath, and movement
in a lighthearted and playful tone. The goal of this experience is to be present moment
to moment, and to connect with oneself through body and breath,
as well as to others through a communal art piece.
This art piece will also be directed and guided by the teacher.
4:30pm - Final share & closing circle
