Come partake in Forest Bathing Therapy with me this Spring.

An invitation to connect to Nature & self in this Forest Bathing Therapy walk. Come experience what it can do for your mind, body & soul. It's a great way to start your day.

Nature has a way to help rejuvenate, provide a boost of energy, creativity & confidence. As well as help your nervous system settle and find calm & grounding.

40 years of research in Japan has proven that spending time under a canopy of trees is beneficial to your health!

"my studies, and those of my fellow researchers, have now proved that forest-bathing:

• Lowers the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline
• Suppresses the sympathetic or 'fight or flight' system
• Enhances the parasympathetic or 'rest and recover' system
• Lowers blood pressure and increases heart-rate variability"

~ Dr. Quin Li {world's foremost expert in forest medicine}

What to expect:

Forest Bathing is NOT a hike. In fact, we will be slowing down our pace & engaging all of our senses.

Our time together will start with a quick introduction. I will then guide you into the forest where, throughout the walk, I will be offering some invitations to help you connect deeper to nature. Ending the walk with a Forest tea & snack.

Know that there is no right or wrong and it is ok for you to pass on an invitation.

Throughout our walk, we will gather in a sharing circle from time to time and you will be invited to share, only if you feel called to.

What you will need:

Yoga mat or light blanket to sit on.

Water bottle

An open mind & open heart

Who this is for:

Those who wishes to be in nature, but aren't quite sure how to go about slowing down and connection (and what that means exactly).

Those who are looking to also share space with others.

Those who would like to experience a popular trail in a different way.

Those who are looking for tools to help regulate their nervous system.

Those who are curious about Forest Bathing.

Anyone & everyone who wants an excuse to get outdoors.

Those who want to take the planning & guessing out, and just be led.

People who are able to take a slow walk on a fairly easy terrain.

People who are 16+

This is a diverse & inclusive offering. The NCC Greenbelt is open to the public and so you are paying for my energetical offering, not the land access.

If you have any concerns or questions and you would like to discuss prior, please do not hesitate to communicate with me so that we may cater to your needs and make this experience as comfortable as possible for you!
